Hari Surayagari is a Data Science Manager at JBS USA, the world's leading animal protein producer. With over nine years of experience in machine learning and data science analytics across diverse domains, Hari specializes in leveraging cloud technologies like AWS and GCP to drive innovation.
At JBS USA, Hari leads the development and deployment of large-scale machine learning models across five business units, delivering impactful projects in forecasting, optimization, and computer vision. He has also conceptualized and implemented the cloud architecture for data science projects and designed an edge deployment strategy for computer vision solutions across numerous production plants. His leadership further extends to developing JBS USA's AI policy, ensuring safe, secure, and ethical AI application, and managing a data science training program that has upskilled over 30 participants in advanced techniques.
Holding master's degrees from Colorado State University (Computer Science) and the University of Glamorgan – Cardiff (Artificial Intelligence), along with multiple certifications in machine learning and cloud computing, Hari is deeply passionate about technology. He thrives on working with diverse teams to solve complex problems and is committed to continuous learning, always staying ahead of the curve in the evolving landscape of consumer and enterprise applications.
